- What is MOMAwater?
- MOMAwater is a premium packaged drinking water, purified — not sourced — to near-zero total dissolved solids (< 5 mg/L). It is made in Sibu, Sarawak at South-East Asia’s first fully-automated sterile-fill facility, and has been the Official Water Partner of the Michelin Guide Kuala Lumpur & Penang for its 2023–2025 editions.
- What is the TDS of MOMAwater?
- Near-zero — < 5 mg/L. MOMA is taken to near-zero TDS by design through The Clarity Process, so there is almost nothing in the bottle but water.
- Is MOMAwater mineral water?
- No. MOMA is purified water, not mineral water. The mineral content of spring water is variable and changes with source, season and batch; MOMA instead removes dissolved solids to near-zero for a clean, consistent and repeatable result every time. We leave the minerals to your plate, where intake is known and balanced.
- How is MOMAwater purified?
- Through The Clarity Process — five stages. It begins with aeration; reverse osmosis at 0.0001 micron then takes the water to near-zero TDS; ultraviolet (UV) light and a post-RO ozone guard sterilise it with no chemical added (the ozone reverting to pure oxygen); every batch is watched in real time by Japanese-engineered monitoring; and it is all made in South-East Asia’s first fully-automated facility.
- Is MOMAwater halal?
- Yes. MOMAwater is certified halal to Malaysian standard MS 1500 by JAKIM.
- What certifications does MOMAwater hold?
- HACCP (Malaysian Ministry of Health), Halal MS 1500 (JAKIM), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Quality assured on every batch. For Singapore, MOMA is also approved under the Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS).
- Is MOMAwater suitable for babies and infant formula?
- MOMA is purified to near-zero TDS, sterile-filled and certified to recognised food-safety standards, and the brand has long positioned it as suitable for expecting mothers and children. As with any water used for an infant, follow your healthcare provider’s and your formula maker’s preparation guidance.
- What sizes does MOMAwater come in?
- Three formats: 300mL (the pocket), 500mL (the everyday) and 1500mL (the table).
- Does MOMAwater change the taste of coffee, tea or food?
- With almost nothing dissolved in it, MOMA carries no taste or colour of its own — so it changes nothing it touches. The coffee tastes of the coffee; the tea, of the tea. It is why baristas and chefs reach for a near-zero-TDS water.
- Where can I buy MOMAwater?
- MOMA is stocked at 6,000+ outlets across Malaysia — supermarkets, convenience stores and more — and is served in hotels, hospitals and airlines across the region. Online, order from MOMAspace (www.momaspace.com) or Shopee (shopee.com.my/momaspace).
- Is MOMAwater available outside Malaysia?
- Yes. Beyond Malaysia, MOMA is exported to Singapore — where it is approved under the Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) — plus Japan, China, Australia and Brunei.
- Is MOMAwater approved under Singapore’s Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS)?
- Yes — MOMA is BCRS-approved. It is registered under Singapore’s Beverage Container Return Scheme and cleared to carry the scheme’s deposit mark, so it remains cleared for sale after 1 October 2026, when only registered containers may be sold in Singapore. - Is MOMAwater hard or soft water?
- MOMAwater is soft — effectively zero hardness. Hardness comes from dissolved calcium and magnesium salts, and at < 5 mg/L total dissolved solids there is essentially none left. In daily use that means no limescale in the kettle, no spots on glassware, and no effect on the taste of tea or coffee.
- Is MOMAwater served at Michelin Guide events?
- Yes — MOMAwater has been the Official Water Partner of the Michelin Guide Kuala Lumpur & Penang for its 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions, poured at the Guide’s ceremonies and gala dinners.
- Who makes MOMAwater?
- MOMAwater is produced by MOMAwater Sdn. Bhd. in Sibu, Sarawak — at South-East Asia’s first fully-automated sterile-fill facility, funded for scale and continuity.
- Why does MOMAwater remove minerals instead of adding them?
- Because consistency is the point. A mineral profile drawn from the ground shifts with season, source and batch; a purified near-zero-TDS water is the same, every time. Nutrition belongs on your plate, where it can be measured — water’s job is to be clean, consistent and clear.
- How can hotels, restaurants, retailers or distributors order MOMAwater?

- Something is not right with my bottle — the taste, the cap, the seal. Who do I contact?
- Tell us directly at momawater.com/care/ — by WhatsApp (+60 12-812 2533) or email (hello@momawater.com). Have the printed batch code on the bottle, where you bought it, and a photo if possible; every report is read by a person and traced to its production batch. If a cap or seal is missing or looks tampered with, do not drink the water — photograph it and send it to us.
